The Science Behind Our Aesthetic Treatments
Aesthetic treatment decisions should be based on more than marketing.
This page explains how common treatments used within Skins by Srishti work, what they are intended to address, their limitations and why individual assessment matters.
How We Evaluate an Aesthetic Treatment
A responsible treatment recommendation should consider:
- mechanism of action
- concern being treated
- available evidence
- skin or scalp type
- expected improvement
- downtime
- contraindications
- number of sessions
- maintenance requirements
- whether medical referral is more appropriate
HIFU
High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound delivers focused energy beneath the skin.
It is commonly used to support collagen remodelling and gradual tightening in selected clients with mild-to-moderate laxity.
It is not a replacement for surgery in clients with significant excess skin.

PRP
Platelet-Rich Plasma is prepared from the client's own blood and used in selected regenerative face and scalp protocols.
PRP should not be described as a filler or guaranteed rejuvenation treatment.
GFC
Growth Factor Concentrate is also derived from the client's blood but uses a different preparation process.
It is used within selected face and scalp-regeneration protocols.

MNRF
Microneedling Radiofrequency combines controlled needling with radiofrequency energy.
Depending on the treatment area and settings, it may be used for:
- acne scars
- enlarged pores
- texture
- selected scalp-regeneration protocols
Indian Skin & Energy-Based Treatments
Indian skin can have a greater tendency to develop post-inflammatory pigmentation after excessive inflammation.
This makes appropriate:
- laser settings
- treatment intervals
- sun protection
- skin preparation
- aftercare
especially important.
When Medical Referral Is More Appropriate
Aesthetic treatment may not be appropriate for every concern.
Medical evaluation may be necessary for:
- severe inflammatory acne
- sudden or unexplained hair loss
- patchy baldness
- active skin infection
- rapidly changing pigmentation
- suspected hormonal or nutritional problems
- uncontrolled medical conditions
Evidence Means Realistic Expectations
Responsible aesthetic practice means explaining both what a treatment may help with and what it cannot guarantee.
